A PETITOM x LE CARTEL collaboration.

Originally created in 2024 for the opening of our Parisian ephemeral boutique as part of the PARIS EST UNE FÊTE collection, Maison de Convoitises (House of coveted things) quickly became one of our community's favorite visuals.

At the time, Petitom, with his characteristic humor, imagined an unlikely scene: two mice trying to leave with a work of art under their arm. An absurd, funny and delightfully Parisian image that immediately won us over.

A few months later, reality caught up with imagination.

Little did we know that Petitom was right.

With his unique view of the world around him, the artist has created a work that celebrates both art and the desire it can arouse. It's a declaration of love to museums, collectors, dreamers and anyone who's ever wanted to take home their favorite work.

In response to strong demand, we decided to put this part back into production in our new 2026 premium cut.

As is often the case with community favorites, quantities available are limited.

Petitom is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Montreal. A graduate in graphic design from the Université du Québec à Montréal, he specializes in illustration and 2D animation. Thomas Bertrand served as Art Director at LE CARTEL from 2020 to 2024. He is also the creator of several designs for the brand, including the “HORS SÉRIES”, a collection of humorous pieces combining minimalist drawings with literary quotes. Thomas Bertrand’s artistic evolution is marked by a shift from a vibrant color palette to more restrained tones, emphasizing the expressiveness of the drawing and the impact of the illustration’s message. Often driven by the desire to provoke laughter—and always with the intent to get to the essence—Thomas shapes his visual world with clarity and wit.
